The Leopard's Limb SA 10/15/11

Good PM/AM, folks! Busy times these are. New employment is demanding but appreciated.

We have had some discussions re press bias, real or perceived, in this blog. I continue to perceive a bias in favor of the Occupy Whatever reportage. The purloined cartoon demonstrates. Mind you, I am not a Tea Partier, but there is a distinct difference in portrayal.

Just desserts
Sorry, I just can't get my hands to wring when I read a story like the attached. Our gene pool needs all the help it can get, a la OT's reminder about how stupid the average person is, with half the population dumber yet. Herewith is a late representative of that nether segment:

  1. The OWS movement is a coordinated distraction from the sorry record of Obamanism. It was immediately recognised and blessed by Democrats and their media as well as other radical interests, chiefly organized labor. A desperate answer to the TEA Party. It is interesting to observe how the avalanche of attacks against the Tea Party activists by mainstream media, liberal commentators and other Democratic Party representatives makes some Republicans uncomfortable with the Tea Party. Conservatives should realize that there is no time for old-fashioned political rituals when the transformation of the country is under way. The 2012 elections are for all the marbles.

  2. "Occupy protests spread globally" according to the large caption and photo on MSN. Riots, looting, burning cars, arrests. Usual stuff. As I said above, coordinated and orchestrated as the Golbal Left always does. Just an opportunity for them to act out. Like turning the handle on a compost barrel once in a while. Media salivates and approves but the TEA Party is a threat to democracy, civil society, clean clothes, and the entire collectivist theology.
