Hmm, wasn't this one from the other day?
Say anything
President Barack Obama's election was a great occasion for America — a moment to remember what is possible in this great nation. It was sad to see Clint Eastwood mock the president during his performance-art piece at the Republican National Convention.
Eastwood owes his career to an Italian director who cast him in a trilogy of Westerns that made him a star. Without the artistry of Sergio Leone, Eastwood's career might have died with the TV western.
Mitt Romney, like Eastwood, also ruggedly forged his path to success in the vacuum of his own ego. He is “self-made” like the first chicken — or is it egg? He believes that 14 percent of his income is plenty to give the government to facilitate all his capital enterprises, but we should give more.
If we knew his plans, we could prepare. Prepare for another right-wing economic plan that ships jobs overseas and the unemployed to foreign battlefields. Prepare Grandma for the demise of Medicare and the rise of voucher-care. Prepare to roll the dice on “casino-style” Social Security. Prepare our sisters, wives and daughters for their new second-class status, because America, at least 47 percent of America, needs to be reminded of its place.
The trouble with Mitt Romney is that we don't know his plans. His positions and statements have traversed the political spectrum. When you say anything to get elected, you have said nothing. He is a phantom; vacuous and empty like Eastwood's chair.

By the way, Bucky, that was a picture of a dog peeing on a campaign poster, not into someone's mouth.
ReplyDeleteI do realize, however, that you see things the way you want them to be and not as they truly are.
DeleteRoxboro is only 11.0576 miles north of Winston-Salem and 360 ft closer to sea level, yet is is consistently 5-7 degrees cooler here.
ReplyDeleteRoxboro is less of a heat island than WS.
Deleteyes, I considered that but both temps are taken at the airports and 7 degrees in air temp just seems like a lot, then again I've never been to the Roxboro Airport, it may have a dirt runway. :)
DeleteRoxboro only 11+ miles from Winston? You're getting like Rush.
DeleteReading disability.
DeleteDepends on if you're saying north in latitude, or from the physical points.
DeleteYou can't help making an idiot of yourself, can you Rush?
Yes, Carlos' frothing has been published before.
ReplyDeleteMir is the Russian word for peace and world.
DeleteDENVER (AP) — Denver police say someone has fired a shot through the window of President Barack Obama's Denver campaign office.
ReplyDeletePolice spokeswoman Raquel Lopez says people were inside the office when the shooting happened Friday afternoon, but no one was injured. A large panel of glass was left shattered at the office on West Ninth Avenue near Acoma Street.
The Tampa Bay Times/Bay News 9/Miami Herald poll shows Romney up seven percentage points with 51% of likely Florida voters' support to Obama's 44%.
ReplyDelete_____
The momentum is starting to change. Of course, these Sandra Fluke wanna bees, like Rush, will never admit it.
If you think Rush Limbaugh is bad, you should listen to this liberal bimbo.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.randirhodes.com/main.html
We haven't had a budget in three years, and these space cadets, like Rush, want to reelect Obama? Please!
ReplyDeleteObama is borrowing money, and THEN wasting it.
Deletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E3rJO4JuYd8
The government has been borrowing money and "wasting" it for years. Most of this waste has been spent on 2 off budget wars, the Bush tax cuts and the Medicare D prescription drug benefit not on Big Bird.
DeleteThe GOP neocons advisers to Romney are for 4 more wars Syria, Libya,Iran and a return to Iraq. The money to support these wars and 2 billion more in increased military spending (above and beyond what the Pentagon has requested) will have to be borrowed too. I would prefer to waste money on educational endeavors like Big Bird rather than four more wars which feed the military-police-state-industrial complex which in turn greatly undermine our liberties and freedoms.
So, Bush did it, so it's okay to do it again? Makes perfect sense to a liberal.
DeleteYeah, we need Big Bird.
Yeah, we need Big Bird. The real question is are you for Big War or Big Education? I'm for Big Education and you're for Big War.
DeleteWhen it comes to down to terrorists killing me and having protection from those people, or having Big Bird, I'll take the former.
DeleteYou can have education, and 'Big' Bird.
War breeds terrorists. Education builds civil societies.
DeleteAnd, we need a village too. I'm still not voting for Hillary.
DeleteThe forum is a village and we do have an idiot.
DeleteI know, his name is Rush.
DeleteFor the ignorati who know nothing of how the government works, each year, the President submits his proposed budget to Congress, which the current President has done each year.
ReplyDeleteOnce the budget proposal is submitted, it is up to Congress to debate the proposals and make adjustments, a process that requires compromise by both sides. Since the current House of Representatives is controlled by a bunch of Pee Pee Party fools and sissies who are in thrall to the nobody Grover Norquist, there can be no compromise, thus no budget.
The reason that we are operating without one is clear...and has nothing to do with the President.
It sometimes gets a little frustrating having to respond to the stupidities of the uninformed.
Really, don't know how you continue to respond daily, but I do appreciate your fortitude, persistence and verbal skills.
DeleteFor the blooming idiots, like Rush, even the Democrats didn't pass the budget that Obama presented.
DeleteFurthermore, the Democrats didn't pass a budget the year that they controlled both the House, the Senate, and the White House.
The president should have shown leadership on the budget. He was too busy letting a bunch of numb-sculls like Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid run the show. Pathetic.
I don't know what kind of idiots you hang out with Rush, but I sure feel sorry for them.
The only time that the democrats controlled both houses of Congress during the Obama Presidency was a brief period in early 2009.
DeleteDuring that time, the President presented a budget, it was passed by both houses and became law on October 1, 2009.
Wonder what it is this time, a "trivial mistake" or he misheard Limbaugh or just an outright lie?
I know you're used to hanging out with idiots Rush, and you're not the brightest bulb on the tree either, but read this.
Delete--------------
The budget writing duties for fiscal year 2011 was the responsibility of those legislators in office between October 1st 2009 - September 30th 2010. During that time period the Democrats had majority control of the Congress, Senate, and the White House. Why didn't the Democrat controlled government prior to October 1st 2010 pass a federal budget for fiscal year 2011? They had majority control of Congress, Senate, and the White House. What prevented them from doing their duty and passing a budget while they had control?
Instead the Democrat controlled government shrugged off their duty to the new Republican controlled Congress. They done this not for the good of the nation, but for political gain. The Democrats assumed they were going to lose several seats and majority control of Congress and possible control of the Senate. They CHOSE not to pass a budget prior to the November Midterm elections. Knowing that if the Democrats kept control, they still had 3 moths to pass the budget before the 2012 budget was submitted by the President. If they lost control, they could pass the duty off to the new Republicans in office. That's dirty politics, however you spin it.
______
Democrats are just 'dirty' and sleazy. You fit in perfectly Rush
Pac-Man is hungry today.
DeleteI've changed your icon name from 'pokey' to 'dopey'.
DeleteMore plagiarism.
DeleteIt's bad enough when someone plagiarizes the truth...something else when they plagiarize a pack of lies.
Of course, in this case, he only has one choice, because he has never had an original thought in his life...should change his forum name to "The Parrot".
You're wrong again Rush. I know you won't admit it. But at least the rest of the forum knows.
DeleteI don't expect much from a 'mole', anyway. But the rest of the liberal fools in here idolize you. You should give them something to look up to, instead of being the purveyor of regurgitated liberal garbage.
Sandra Fluke engaged to a MAN?
ReplyDeletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkdKO-yFHbU
I sure feel sorry for that SOB.
I'll pitch in for 'free' condoms for that couple. We sure don't need any more little 'Flukes' running around.
DeleteSandra Fluke has something you'll never have, Bucky,....courage.
DeleteCourage to be an idiot? I'm glad I don't have it then.
DeleteThe things that society values…duty, honor, courage, loyalty, courtesy, kindness, honesty, civility, community are antahema to Dunce and his ilk. He thinks that eating a chemically treated "chicken" sandwich is an act of courage.
DeleteI've known my share of Dunces. None of us who were there will ever forget the loudmouthed jackass who bragged on the plane over how he promised his mother to "kill her a Cong for christmas."
The next week, when the first mortar rounds started coming in, guess who made a mess in his pants.
He's a very lucky guy; smart, strong women are a turn-on for me. Plus her career is going to be golden. And she's cute too. What more could you ask for?
DeleteDunce prefers the weak, silent type. That is why he eats his chicken alone.
DeleteTruly. Might as well just jerk off if that's the only kind of woman that does it for you.
DeleteStacy Dash is more my speed. She's about an eight.
DeleteFluke is a weak four, and her politics take her down to about a two.

It's funny how most liberal women are not very good looking. Just flip between FoxNews and CNN, and you'll find that out FAST.
Yeah...the women on Fox just aren't my type. Too much makeup and bulletproof sprayed hair. I go for a more natural look.
DeletePlus, the sexiest body part a woman has is her brain. Not surprised you don't get that.
Nothing terrifies Dunce more than a woman with a brain...that's why he likes the plastic Barbies of FoxLies®.
DeleteHe reminds me of Hemingway.
"Hemingway never grew out of adolescence. His scope and depth stayed shallow because he had no idea what women are for."

An internet comment on the D's debate freak-out...it sums up my views perfectly. I changed "YouTube" to "JournalNow", but otherwise it's verbatim:
ReplyDelete"Did they miss the racist emails, the snide Teleprompter jokes, the smug certainty among so many on the right that this administration is an accident, and that a black man isn’t REALLY president, just some sort of uncrowned caretaker? Do these folks really want their bigoted in-laws and racist JournalNow commenters to have the satisfaction of having been right all along? Because that’s what they’ll take away from this. The amount of bedwetting panic on the left is pathetic. The president has approval and favorability ratings at or higher than 50%, the economy is growing, jobs are being created, and they’re going to write off the election because of one awful debate performance? It is mind-boggling."
We need to remember all that has been accomplished, and all the work that remains.

DeleteI don't know about the rest of you, but I ain't worried about the color of the president's skin. I'm worried about getting 'skinned' alive from Obama's horrid economic policies.
