Quite a shoot out last night. Time to end the Bucky Show and get back to real news. Bucky, if your promised new material exceeds the trollery of past submissions, they and you are departing this blog.
My name is Mike Walker. I am very visible on line. Match my visibility, Bucky.
I also apologize for getting caught up in the BrokeBuck moment. I know that I should simply ignore him, but he is such an inviting target, and such a perfect example of what is wrong with our nation. No excuse...a flaw in my otherwise sterling character...sarcasm intended.
And then, there was a party going on, and people were reading his inane stuff and egging me on...even a post or so not by me...maybe a drink or two too much for some of us. Again, sorry.
And as Mike says, I am O.T. Rush, a real person. The "O" stands for Owney, my maternal great grandfather, of whom I am rightfully proud. It is a Galway name, via Scotland. But a long time ago my friends, appalled by such a redneck sounding name, started calling me O.T.
I am proud of the redneck part as well, because the term redneck originated in Scotland, not in the US. But once your friends decide on who you are, you are stuck with it.
It's just me and the frog this year.

Stab, et al: I played right into to the behavior that I am so intolerant of in others and for that I offer my sincerest apologies.
ReplyDeleteHaving said that, I stand by my challenge:
Bucky, put up or shut up.
I know EXACTLY who Bucky is. Much is said about a man's character when he gets fired from VOLUNTEERING.
ReplyDeleteOuch.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of visibility, I am off all next week. Anyone up for meeting somewhere for lunch sometime next week and getting to meet in person?
