Not trustworthy
I don't trust him — this fellow running for president who acts like he feels superior to most Americans but has far more money than meaningful accomplishments. This fellow is, I'm convinced, a willing puppet of greedy, soulless groups.
The hypocrisy is obvious in his money-grabbing, uncaring supporters who know he will be their stooge. They deny or overlook that he helped pass a comprehensive health-care law, failed to protect what had been a better economy in Massachusetts and has never been a born-again Christian.
I'll vote but absolutely not for this fellow, Mitt Romney. President Barack Obama has my support. Our president now knows "It is time for Democrats to grow a backbone" (Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick, 2012 Democratic Convention), because his opposition is more than willing to bully and wage war on Americans. Just some of those misperceived as inferior and deserving of attacks are women, gays, immigrants and the poor.
By attacking, the extreme and radical-right elements of conservatism cater to irrational beliefs, prejudices and fears of Republicans and make-believe independents so they can gain more money and power ... and feel superior.

Transactions
In his Aug. 30 column, "Why gold is not good," Charles Lane contends that when people conduct commerce in a government-sanctioned, irredeemable currency, they are demonstrating the trust that is the bedrock of civilization. But all the trust in the world won't do you any good if you can't measure what you are trusting.
The homebuilding industry will collapse if an inch tomorrow is not the same as an inch was yesterday. So how can we remain so blissfully unaware of whether a dollar tomorrow will be the same as a dollar was yesterday? Why doesn't it matter that one side of every non-barter transaction is a question mark?
Quantifying a unit of account requires that it be convertible into something that has weight and occupies space. But that something doesn't have to be gold.
In various times and various cultures, that something has been wampum, tally sticks, sandstone megaliths on the island of Yap, and in post-World War II Germany, packs of American cigarettes.
James Surowiecki of The New Yorker has popularized the concept of "the wisdom of crowds." What we all know together without knowing that we know it is superior to what the experts at the central bank think that they know and want to impose upon us.
We could discover the optimal substance of money for our time and our culture if Uncle Sam would only remove his giant thumb from the scales.

Motsinger knows
Elisabeth Motsinger knows something about health care issues. As a health care provider for 20 years, she has seen firsthand how the lack of insurance can profoundly affect families and individuals. As our representative in Congress, she would continue to make people's health the first priority, rather than the financial well-being of health care companies.
Motsinger thinks government shouldn't ignore the needs of our most vulnerable citizens (the incumbent, Rep. Virginia Foxx, has voted three times against expanding the Children's Health Insurance Program, which covers children in low-income families). Elisabeth has been out in the 5th District every day, speaking with constituents about their lives and concerns. She knows that our N.C. neighbors without insurance are not "lazy" or people who "don't want to work."
Motsinger wants to win on the relationships she's building with 5th District people, not on the kind of scare tactics that the incumbent uses. She has chosen to maintain civility and respect for the opposition in her campaign, and to demand it from the people working with her. Haven't we had enough divisive, accusatory and angry campaign speech?
Motsinger may not have the financial resources of the incumbent in this race, but she comes to the fight armed with a firm grasp of important issues and an understanding of how congressional decisions affect N.C. citizens.

No need for concern
Winston-Salem citizens opposed to the chicken ordinance should not be concerned ("Parking, fowl hot topics," Sept. 12). Foxes, which routinely roam the city at night, will solve their problem.
My concern is with deer that have no natural predator in our incorporated zoo and plunder our vegetable and flower gardens.

ReplyDeleteHere is a good concise article that explains well the Federal Reserve. The Federal Reserve: CNBC Explains
The optimal substances of value were discovered long ago by primitive man:
ReplyDelete1. Air, humans cannot live without it for much more than 2-3 minutes.
2. Potable water, humans cannot live without it for much more than a week to 10 days.
3. Food, humans cannot live without it for much longer than 7-8 weeks.
4. Shelter, depends largely on the climate and predators.
Gold, I've survived almost 60 years without any.
I recall reading somewhere that for every gold wedding band, the amount of earth that must be moved is equivalent to a hole 4ft in diameter and 6 feet deep.
Not trustworthy. This is a disturbed man who must hear voices. Democrats grow a backbone? Never happen as long as they insist on using the name "Democrats". They survive because of the entertainment industry and the dominant media industry. If not for both, Democrats would have been dust in the wind by the end of the Cold War.
ReplyDeleteWrong. A Pew study released just a couple of weeks ago shows that the President and his opponent have both received about 75% negative coverage since Romney became the obvious choice for the GOP nomination. before that, the President was getting well over 50% negative while Romney was getting over 50% positive.
DeletePeople who rattle on about the liberal media obviously don't know very much about the media and who owns it and what their motivations are.
Good for the Pew study. I'll take decades of observation over "studies". Same for the entertainment industry over the years. Both shape our culture and attitudes. This transports ideological narratives that don't have majority backing from our elected officials. The studiers can "study" all they like.
DeleteMost interesting is that finding that viewers who vote Republican and identify themselves as conservative are more likely than Democrats to love the biggest hits on TV.
DeleteReporter James Hibberd has this observation: “But if you look at the list of broadcast shows that are Republican favorites, it closely mirrors the Nielsen top 10 list, whereas Democrats tend to gravitate toward titles likely to have narrower audiences. To Hollywood, the data suggest a potentially disquieting idea: The TV industry is populated by liberals, but big-league success may require pleasing conservatives.” Thank you conservatives for making the entertainment industry so successful. We liberals appreciate your business.
For me, I enjoy NCIS-both, and Person of Interest...both CBS shows. Since "House" went off Fox, I enjoy little else unless it is an obscure cable replacement during the summer. As for movies, socialists don't make movies about socialism, liberals make movies about socialism. Think Michael Moore.
DeleteRush, when you put up your daily, statistical nonsense. How about putting up your reference(s). I want to actually read these so called 'reports'. After all, you've been caught with your 'integrity' pants down, more than once, in this forum.
DeleteThanks in advance, NW.
Well, sonny boy, if you would take a reading course at FTCC, you might improve your reading skills enough to notice that the third and fourth words are "Pew study".
Delete1. Go to Google search (google.com)
2. Type in "pew study media coverage"
3. Click on the link
4. Attempt to read the article
5. Good luck...you'll need it
Yes, personal observations are great knowledge tools when it comes to measuring complex subjects like media coverage.
DeleteMakes me think of the state legislator who was arguing that the sea is not rising. "I was at the beach the other day and the water was no higher than it was last year."

Why don't you just post the link Rush? Afraid somebody might find out you're lying, AGAIN?
DeleteCould you put up that photo where you said there was no sidewalk, but the photo clearly showed a sidewalk-again? That was one of your better ones.
DeleteOh Lord!? It just never stops.
because we are still waiting for the link from you where President Obama has apologized to and sympathizes with the recent attackers on our Embassies.
DeleteBucky, I've asked you on countless occasion to reference to no avail, so check yourself.
DeleteZiva is HOT.
Transactions. Nice write up. "We could discover the optimal substance of money for our time and culture if Uncle Sam would only remove his giant thumb from the scales". As long as we believe those ones and zeros on our bank accounts actually represent real money, then we are pacified. When the public finally sees that our currency is not backed by anything but words, then trouble begins. With our latest foolishness from the Fed, QE3, our currency will be further devalued. As long as the Fed prints more credit money, the longer it will be before we the people find out "optimal substance of our money". Instead, the central planners of the New Normal huddle every month, and time after failed time, hope that "this time it will be different" and that wealth can finally be achieved through dilution of money. Alchemy for the 21st century. As for our economy, we really don't know if this baby can even walk.
ReplyDeletePhargo is right. I am easily amused.
ReplyDeleteHowever, in my defense, Democrats are constantly engaging in so much foolish fodder, it's easy to stay amused.
Democrats, like Phargo/Bob suddenly seem to care about lies. Now when did that start? Back when they were clapping on the White House lawn after Clinton was impeached, or when Anthony Weiner was caught lying after he posted his bare, male appendage on the internet?
Yes, Democrats are holy and moral people when veracity is concern. Excuse me if I don't throw-up.
Which is interesting topic because it's clear from recent information, that Susan Rice, the Ambassador to the U.N., spent almost the entire day yesterday lying on TV programs about the recent Muslim riots. You see, Rice, one of Obama's many dimwitted bimbos, that he parades out in from of people, said that the riots were a result of 'the' anti Muslim movie. Now, we know that the raid on the U.S. Embassy in Libya had been planned for some time.
Most sane people know Democrats are not the most moral people on a variety of issues. Nonetheless, they seem to have the continued gaul to call out Republicans, while their own behavior is usually much worse on daily basis.
The program 'Hee Haw' went off many years ago. But it's still playing within the Democratic Party.
Gallia est omnis divisa in partes tres, quarum unam incolunt Belgae, aliam Aquitani, tertiam qui ipsorum lingua Celtae, nostra Galli appellantur. Hi omnes lingua, institutis, legibus inter se differunt.
DeleteThat makes more sense than most of your nonsense.
DeleteYes, According to the Libyan Leader Mohammed Magarief it was planned by outsiders associated with Al Qaeda. He said the security situation in Libya remained "difficult" for Americans, as well as for Libyans. The United States wants the FBI to investigate the consulate attack, but Magarief said it may be too soon to send in investigators.
DeleteLet's see, the longer one waits to investigate a crime, the more contaminated the evidence becomes? Isn't that well known by LEO's? "It may be better for them to stay away for a little while until we do what we have to do ourselves," he said. So now bucky is taking the word of Muslim leaders. Now we know. Well no we don't. And personally, I'll wait to make judgement instead of rushing in. Besides, planned or spontaneous, people died and those responsible should face justice. And HEE HAW was a favorite of conservatives, they still use the one of the theme songs:
Gloom, Despair, and agony on Me,
Deep, dark depression, excessive misery,
If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.
Gloom, despair, and agony on me.
OOOOOH
Didn't they begin their Convention with it?
DeleteNo need for concern. Don't forget the coyotes...
ReplyDeleteHaven't come upon a coyote with a kill, so don't know what they are eating, but they're eating something...have seen three different ones now. I'm sure that deer are on their want list but don't know if they've actually made the menu yet.
ReplyDeleteExcellent! I'll count that one as your daily, insanely stupid post.
DeleteThose coyotes could have a field day around my house. We have more darn deer around here. Friday evening, about 7:00 5 of them darted out of my woods and stopped a few seconds then bolted. Looked like a jail break. My neighbor at the end of the road keeps about 25 head of black angus cows littered across his acreage. I've seen coyotes there.
DeleteThe Bison farmer said he often finds dead coyotes in his pastures. I believe him, the Wood Bison Bull weighs over 2,000 lbs. and measures about 7ft at the hump.
DeleteMy neighbor would need better fences for bison. I am used to a stray calf wandering my way, but a full grown bison....whew!
DeleteThey are awesome creatures...I have seen people at Yellowstone walk right up to one to have their picture taken...don't try that if there is a calf around.
DeleteWhen the Moravians arrived here in 1753, there were bison all over the place. In their description of their first night here, they also mentioned the howling of wolves in the forest.
Speaking of Democrat foolish fodder: 'Ol Rahm is going to take the 'union' teachers to court.
ReplyDeleteI'll bet he wouldn't have done that a few months ago when he was getting elected. Hee Hee.
Only some 8% of students that graduate from high schools in Chicago, pass the test for college readiness.
No wonder so many people in Chicago vote for people like Rahm and Obama.

Rush, if you'd watch something besides that liberal propagandist channel, CNN, you'd hear about some of the concrete economic solutions that Romney has put forth.
DeleteBut of course, you being you, you stick to what you want to hear.
Throw a extra charge on your pacemaker, and take a ride up to Walnut Cove today, and maybe, listen to FoxNews. Do something 'exciting' and informative for a change.
There's a whole big world outside of your 'loft'.
Oh brother. What are you going to do? Some of these liberals are just incorrigible.
Please list concrete economic solutions.
DeleteGood afternoon folks!
ReplyDeleteLTE 1: Endorsement. "...and has never been a born-again Christian." - irrelevant as the Constitution forbids any religious test for office. At least Mr. Lovelace does give reference to Romney's time as Gov. which carries far more weight than his time at Bain. Running a company and being gov or POTUS are completely different. As company head, you set the agenda and everyone must follow along or find somewhere else to work, whereas a republic style govt has the executive, legislative and judicial branches sharing equal power. If the legislative branch doesn't like the POTUS's plan, it can send it back DOA or override any veto.
LTE 2:"...be convertible into something that has weight and occupies space." - that would be whatever goods/services one purchases with the US dollar. If Mr. Hill is looking for some mineral or other commodity on which to value the dollar, well, good luck with that. The US GDP was ~$15T in 2011 according to the World Bank. Total US assets were over $75T. The US dollar is still seen as the safest investment by worldwide investors who are buying up our debt.
LTE 3: Endorsement
LTE 4: I live in K-ville, so no concern with the W-S ordinance. Along with foxes, there are other creatures, such as your otherwise friendly pets, who would also limit the lifespan of any stray chicken. I have seen some deer roaming through the neighborhood from time to time. My main concern with deer isn't so much the plundering as it is the jumping in front of my car.
To sum up our middle Eastern "policy" at the moment..“It used to be the case that a diplomat was an honorable man who went abroad to lie for his country. In the Age of Obama, a diplomat is a dishonorable woman who goes on television to lie for her President"(PR).
ReplyDeleteObama and Netanyahu should have already bomb the ever lovin blue blazes out of Iran. That's why you're seeing all of these Islamic knuckleheads acting up.
DeleteOf course, people, like Rush, want us to go over there and hand out toosie pops, and ask them to please shut down their atom bomb making plants. And we all know that ain't goin to work.
We should send Rush and Carter to Iran to negotiate the termination of nuclear bomb making by the Iranians. Rush and Carter, the two 'brains' of the world. What a pair they'd make. Hee Hee.
DeleteOr maybe Anthony 'Weiner'.....he could sell them some internet stock or something. Even if he couldn't come to terms with them on bomb making. Hee Hee.
And to think that a liberal is in charge of U.S. policy around the world. And we're wondering why all hell is breaking loose?
Toosie pops? Atom bomb (1945-1952)?
DeleteWW, same response as the one above to Dunce.
DeletePlease describe the current Middle Eastern policy.
Please describe the "lies" of Secretary of State Clinton.
While you're at it, you can tell us what you would do.
OT...the quote mentioned(Prof. Paul Rahe) is talking about Amb Susan Rice over the weekend on the Sunday Shows. There is no current middle east policy. Soft power has failed. An American President's first job is to defend American values, not apologize for them. That only feeds the mob. I would do my job as a president and uphold my oath of office...ie do an about face from the current status quo.
DeleteTo say that there is no current middle east policy is to take a safe approach, avoiding the fact that there is, obviously, a middle east policy...cop out.
DeleteThe President's job is to assess the situation and pursue a policy that will protect America's interests without unnecessarily endangering others, as the previous administration did with its two stupid, unwinnable wars that have killed tens of thousands of people and gained us nothing.
To say that you would do your job is the same as what current candidate Romney is saying...no policy...cop out.
There is no policy anymore as what existed has blown up. For a president to apologize to the mob is a cop out. Not on my part, but his in not doing his first task. This president announced a pivot from the middle east early on has has been turning away since his Cairo speech. Mr Obama has recast America as the "paper tiger" all over again. It starts with, like I said, a clear statement of American values unapologetically and also fully embracing our ally Israel. Cop out belongs to the White House, State Department and the whoring media trying to cover for them with this "video nonsense".
DeleteIsrael is the most dangerous nation on earth. We have spent far too many years kissing their asses. If you want WW III, keep on kissing.
DeleteContinue to give the impression to its Arab neighbors that America has turned away from Israel and you can be guaranteed a major war. Apologizing for America at Israel's expense is deadly. Soft words to the Iranian Mullahs from 2009 forward including standing mute in summer 2009 when Iranian demonstrators were in the streets desperately in need of America's voice. These things will bring a major war through misperception. Not saying if Egypt is or is not an American ally shows indecisiveness when the opposite is called for.
DeleteThe Israelis are some of the smartest people on earth.
DeleteSo what do you suggest to avoid WWIII? Do what Obama is doing? Kissing Muslims' butts? There are already Muslim protests in 33 countries as I type.
OT re one man and a dog: that comment was a bit too oracular for my literal man. What man, what dog?
ReplyDeleteTheir names are not Bill and Buddy.
DeleteShould be literal mind, not man.
ReplyDeleteBombing Iran: Bucky that would require hundreds of planes and missiles to accomplish the mission, and that would be the least of the problems. Oil supplies would be affected, Iranian-sponsored terrorism would go thru the roof, and we could well find ourselves in conflict with more than just Iran, given the current hostility toward us.
ReplyDeleteThere might be a complete curtailment of oil shipments to the West, or at least $150+/bbl prices. You want a Depression, go bomb Iran.
Emotionally, I'd say fine, blast the Iranian military to camels and scimitars, but we are supposed to run foreign policy logically.
Strategic bombing Stab. GHW Bush used to bomb countries regularly if they pissed him off.
DeleteLiberals forget. That's assuming that they have a brain, which is assuming a lot in many cases. That the best defense is a good offense.
As always, Dunce loves to show his ignorance to all.
ReplyDeleteOne assumes that he meant "tactical bombing", which is the opposite of "strategic bombing", but in truth, who ever knows what he means since he himself doesn't know. Strategic bombing would entail exactly what Stab describes.
As to GHW Bush bombing countries "regularly", he bombed two countries, Kuwait and Iraq, once, as a part of the same operation, which lasted about 5 weeks. I don't think that meets the definition of regularly, but then again, who knows what Dunce means about anything, since his definitions of most things do not match up with those in any dictionary.
"Playboy is offering Ann Romney $250,000 to pose in the magazine, and the White House is upset about it because National Geographic only offered Michelle Obama $50 to pose for them," the San Luis Obispo Tribune reported how audience member Dona Wilson recounted the joke.
ReplyDeleteAt least one member of the Creston Classic Rodeo has called on the announcer, Ed Kutz, to apologize.
"I can't speak for the board, but I myself think that this is unacceptable behavior or conduct by the announcer," said Mike Barrett in The Tribune. "I find it offensive, and I think that it's conduct unbecoming the rodeo announcer."
_________
Calling on the rodeo announcer to apologize? I think they'd have better luck with Rush if he said something equally as stupid. Which is quite often, I might add.
Note that when Dunce is called out for his ignorance in every area of bombing, he merely skips on to another of his irrelevant topics.
DeleteNobody gives a shit what some dumbass rodeo announcer says. Rodeo is as relevant as the Dunce himself.
Strategic adjective 1. pertaining to, characterized by, or of the nature of strategy: strategic movements.
Delete______________
You never can resist the temptation to make a fool out of yourself, can you Rush?
"Strategic bombing" has a very special definition. Look it up or shut up.
DeleteI find it difficult to believe that any living human can be so stupid.
It's always 'special' when you get involved. Hee Hee...you're too much.
DeleteChicago (CNN) -- A Cook County judge declined to immediately hear arguments Monday in a request by Chicago school officials to force teachers to end their walkout, according to a city law department spokesman.
ReplyDeleteInstead, a court hearing on the matter will come at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, said Roderick Drew, a spokesman with Chicago's emergency management office.
Calling the dispute illegal and dangerous, Chicago school officials filed the complaint Monday, asking a judge to end the teacher strike now in its sixth school day.
Union officials in turn accused Mayor Rahm Emanuel of using the courts to bully schoolteachers into accepting a tentative deal.
__________
Unions are accusing Rahm of being a bully? Unions invented bullying, please!
Bombing Iran, again: the bombing would be strategic, with multiple targets: Iran's air defense system, including air bases, radars, and anti-aircraft missile sites; command and control facilities; naval and army bases; infrastructure such as power plants; and the widely scattered, and thoroughly hardened nuclear facilities.
ReplyDeleteWe would need to have air and naval patrols to deal with attacks on shipping by submarines, aircraft, and fast attack vessels. And the war on terror would escalate an order of magnitude. Americans will die, and Americans will end up prisoners of Iran. We know about how kind the Iranians are to their own people, with institutionalized rape in their prisons.
And we have the other consequences I mentioned in my earlier comment. We just need to remind the Iranians about the warload carried by on Trident submarine.
Okay, let's wait until they carry a portable nuclear device into New York City, and detonate it, and kill about 30,000 million people in New York, and the surrounding area. That sounds like a good plan to me? Not!
DeleteThe liberal side of your brain kicks in quite often, doesn't it Stab?
Little Chicken Dunce is at it again, parroting the parrots who parrot the parrots…all of whom combined have the knowledge of an earthworm.
DeleteRecently, ABC reporter Brian Ross said that if the Iranians made the decision to build a nuclear weapon, it would take them as little as four weeks to build one bomb. Jeez, Brian, was that a brain fart or are you just as stupid as some we know?
Bibi said on "Meet the Press" that "they're six months away from being about 90% of having the enriched uranium for an atom bomb." Of course, Bibi is always waxing hysteric.
That sounds like something that Dunce might say. What the hell does it mean? Study the history of the development of "the bomb" and you will find out that it means nothing, because anyone who actually knows anything about anything knows that the last 10% is by far the most difficult.
Let's try some facts from a real source, the Iran Project:
1. Neither US nor Israeli intelligence nor the IEAE believes that Iran has even made a decision to try to develop a nuclear weapon.
2. Should they eventually do so, it would take at least two years or more to create a nuclear warhead that could be reliably delivered by a missile.
3. Because Iran is under such close scrutiny by everyone, we would know about such a decision right away.
As to "portable nuclear devices", the US and Soviet governments spent huge sums of money from the 1950s to the 1980s to develop such weapons. A few very weak backpackable prototypes were developed. Iran does not have the financial resources to duplicate that effort.
Even if they should, detonating such a device in New York City would affect an area only a few blocks in distance. And since there are nowhere near 30 million people anywhere near New York, that number is laughable.
That being said, keep the hysteria coming…it is a source of entertainment for the rest of us.
30,000 million people in NYC? Wow, 30 billion people? The traffic must be terrible. One Trident sub can make Iran glow in the dark, figuratively speaking, and blast the country back to the time off the barbarian Prophet. Best to let time pass rather than start another damn war in that part of the world.
DeleteTypo-should be 30 million. I was going to type the number out, and then I thought about how stupid Rush is, and I got distracted.
DeleteThere are multiple SMSA in the NYC area.
Nice try, dumbass. The NYC CSA is somewhere around 20 million. However you cut it, you are wrong, wrong and wrong again.
DeleteAs always...we won't even say it.
Stab...
Delete"The Naked City" is a great film noir movie made in 1948 in a semi-documentary style. It ends with aerial shots of New York and a voice over that says "There are eight million stories in the naked city. This has been one of them." It won two Academy Awards.
It inspired a great 1958 TV series, "The Naked City" which began with aerial shots of the city and a similar line and won an Emmy as Best Drama, but was cancelled the same year…it was way over the heads of ordinary viewers. It was succeeded by a second "Naked City" through about 1963...not as good but still terrific. Available on DVD.
Later, NY's population rose to over 9 million…I think it is back at about 8 today. Either way, traffic still sucks. That's why I ride the subway.
If you want 30 million, you'll have to go to Bogota or Guangzhou or Kinshasa or Lima.
SMSAs Rush, don't try to switch my statements, you liberal fool.
DeleteYou just love going into your NW mode.
Bogota is not that big, you liberal dope. I've been there many times.
DeleteBetter head up to Walnut Cove, and see if you can get caught for speeding for some excitement Rush.
DeleteYou're pathetic.
I guess Dunce is unaware that a CSA incorporates all SMSAs in the area, so is the largest possible number. Why would I be surprised at that?

No single development has altered the workings of American democracy in the last century so much as political consulting, an industry unknown before Campaigns, Inc. In the middle decades of the twentieth century, political consultants replaced party bosses as the wielders of political power gained not by votes but by money. Whitaker and Baxter were the first people to make politics a business. “Every voter, a consumer” was the mantra of a latter-day consulting firm, but that idea came from Campaigns, Inc. Political management is now a diversified, multibillion-dollar industry of managers, speechwriters, pollsters, and advertisers who play a role in everything from this year’s Presidential race to the campaigns of the candidates for your local school committee. (Campaigns, now, never end. And consultants not only run campaigns; they govern. Mitt Romney, asked by the Wall Street Journal’s editorial board how he would choose his Cabinet, said that he’d probably bring in McKinsey to sort that out.) But for years Whitaker and Baxter had no competition, which is one reason that, between 1933 and 1955, they won seventy out of seventy-five campaigns. The campaigns they chose to run, and the way they decided to run them, shaped the history of California, and of the country. Campaigns, Inc., is shaping American politics still.

ReplyDeleteRasmussen poll in N.C.: Romney leads Obama 51% to 45%.
DeleteMcCrory will probably also win, and the General Assembly will remain in the hands of Republicans.
Finally...., we'll be able to clean out some of the ridiculous actions by liberal Democrats during their 100 year reign of economic, and social terror, that has almost destroyed this state.
Bucky, didn't you post these same poll results this weekend?
DeleteRomney in all probability will take NC and McCrory will be the next governor. Thanks to redistricting the legislature will remain in republican control and NC will look more and more like SC.
I sure don't want it to look like California. What a success story that liberal state is?
DeleteIt all runs together with Rush's nonsense in the background, but I believe I posted similar poll results from Rasmussen last week. This is the latest poll.
The main thing I want to know from you is: Am I keeping you entertained?

No, your reruns are not entertaining.
ThFox News anchor Bill O’Reilly and Comedy Central host Jon Stewart will go head-to-head in a 90-minute mock-debate next month.
DeleteThe somewhat tongue-in-cheek debate, labeled "The Rumble in the Air-Conditioned Auditorium," will take place at George Washington University, will be moderated by CNN anchor E.D. Hill, and will be livestreamed online.is should be entertaining.
Yes it should. Thanks for the tip Wordly.
DeleteAlthough I must say that O'Reilly should think twice about this, just as Romney probably ought to develop an acute case of chicken pox just before his debates with Obama begin.
Wordly...is that really true? In 90 minutes the jokes can subside and maybe some substance shows up?
DeleteFrom Wordly:
Delete"Bucky, didn't you post these same poll results this weekend?"
Yes, he did. His reply: "I believe I posted similar poll results from Rasmussen last week. This is the latest poll."
No it's not…it's the same poll, and he knows it…liar, liar, pants on fire.
Over the last decade, Rasmussen has been the most unreliable national poll because it is always tilted Republican. Another recent NC poll was done by Civitas, the local fascist outfit. Look at RCP, throw out the two right wing polls, and the race is dead even, not that the President needs NC.
Dunce couldn't tell the truth if you hooked him up to a lie detector and a portable nuclear device at the same time…he'd just blow himself to kingdom come.
According to FoxNews, I haven't researched the data myself, Rasmussen poll results were the most accurate in the 2008 presidential race.
DeleteConsidering that FoxNews is much more reliable that the liberal media in general, I'd go with the above poll information as being the most accurate.
We're still waiting for the list of Romney's concrete solutions from Dunce.
ReplyDeleteI imagine that most of us will be long dead before that is forthcoming.
If you'd get out and get some exercise Rush, instead of being a liberal fat ass, you might live longer.
DeleteDespite bullshit attempts to avoid answering, we're still waiting for Dunce to tell us about Mitty's "concrete solutions", while dying laughing.
DeleteLaugh it up dope. I'm waiting for you to post something that actually makes sense.
DeleteWe're also waiting for details on the lies of Secretary Clinton.
ReplyDeleteI'm also waiting on Obama to become an effectual president, but it's clear, that ain't happening.
DeleteWhile waiting for anyone to give us details of Secretary Clinton's "lies", we are, as usual, dying laughing.
